Privacy Policy
What data Listen expects to process to run the bot, restore queues, power premium, and measure first-party product surfaces.
This is a staging draft for product and engineering alignment. It is not final legal advice and should be reviewed before production launch.
Data we process
Listen may process Discord user IDs, guild IDs, channel IDs, role IDs, command usage, guild settings, playlists, queue/player snapshots, vote grant metadata, premium subscription identifiers, first-party redirect clicks, logs, and diagnostics.
Listen should not sell personal data or expose Discord IDs to third-party analytics by default.
Why we process data
Data is used to run commands, maintain audio continuity, restore queues, activate premium, process payments, prevent abuse, provide support, and understand which first-party surfaces work.
Promotional DMs should require opt-in, prior relationship, or another Discord-safe permission context.
Retention and requests
Detailed retention windows still need to be finalized before production launch.
Listen should provide a support/contact path for reasonable deletion or access requests where technically feasible.
